Michelin Pilot Road 4 Front MC Tyre

Description

The new Michelin Pilot Road 4 is the result of further development on its pouplar predecessors, Pilot Road 2 & 3.

Pilot Road 4 has a new pattern with advanced siping for increased durability and stability. The riding characteristics in wet road conditions have been improved with a focus on short braking distance with increased stability and manageability.

2CT (Two Compound Technology) provides a harder rubber compound in the middle of the tread and a softer one on the sides for optimal grip and longevity. Compared to its predecessors, Pilot Road 4 gives you up to 20% longer service life!

Pilot Road 4 comes in 3 different variants, all with the same pattern but with a different body structure. Pilot Road 4 Standard, Pilot Road 4 GT and Pilot Road Trail.

Pilot Road 4 Standard - Adapted for standard motorcycles such as Kawasaki Z750, Yamaha MT-07 and Kawasaki ER-6.

Pilot Road 4 GT - Adapted for larger touring motorcycles 1000cc and above. Pilot Road 4 GT - Original mounted on eg. BMW R 1200 RT.

Pilot Road 4 Trail - Adapted for off-road geared motorcycles such as KTM 1190 Adventure and KTM 990 Adventure.

R = Radial tyres. The cord lies radially over the tyre. Better curve properties than other tyres.
- Diagonal tyre. Example: 90/90 (-) 21 The cord lies diagonally over the tyre, expanding more than a radial tyre at high speeds. Also great as an off-road tyre.
B = Belt diagonal. New and improved version of diagonal frame. Expands less than a traditional diagonal tyre. A popular tyre that works very well with custom tyres.
